어학연수나 워킹홀리데이를 위해서 호주에 입국할 수 있는 비자는 관광, 호주워킹홀리데이, 호주학생비자, 세컨비자가
있습니다.
호주관광비자는 3개월 동안 체류할 수 있으며 어학연수는 가능하지만 일은 불법입니다. 현지에서 최대 12개월까지
연장가능하지만 6개월 이상은 이유가 분명하지 않으면 까다롭습니다.
호주워킹홀리데이비자는 만 30세 이하의 부양가족이 없는 사람이면 누구나 신청이 가능하며, 다만 질병(감염, 결핵등)
이 없어야합니다. 비자 기간은 총 1년이며, 승인된 날로부터 1년이내 입국하셔야 하고, 호주 도착한 날로부터 1년이
시작됩니다.
호주학생비자는 공부하는 기간 + 1개월 만큼 비자가 나오며, 비자 승인은 4개월 전부터 이루어지니 최대한 빨리
가실 경우 코스시작일보다 4개월 전에 입국이 가능합니다. 학업을 하시면서 주당 20시간씩 합법적으로 일을 하실 수
있습니다.
호주세컨비자는 워킹홀리데이비자 기간중에 호주 정부에서 인정하는 대도시 외의 지역에서 3개월 이상(정확히는
88일) 일을 하실 경우 비자를 연장할 수 있는 자격이 주어집니다. 워홀비자와 마찬가지로 기간은 1년이며, 만 30세
이하셔야 합니다.
비자는 호주 현지에서 신청하시거나 한국으로 돌아오신 후에도 신청하실 수 있습니다. 하지만 반드시 일을 하실때
페이슬립(급여명세서)를 챙기셔야 나중에 탈이 없습니다.
